: : Rebecca, after reading the info on the site you mentioned, I found myself very curious to learn more about this guy. Do you suppose he felt his conservation view would be taken more seriously if people thought he was a native? Or do you think he just wanted to be one so badly, he convinced everyone, and possibly himself, too, that he WAS?

: : MMMM

: Goodness! I had forgotten what got me thinking about this imitator issue. I also looked in on the site, Rebecca! I look forward to this movie as well. Marcia, I gathered from the site he wanted to be native very badly. It will be fun wiewing with these questions in mind and posting impressions afterwards. I love Mohicanland!

: Dana

Hi everybody!!

I agree with you, Dana. He really, really wanted to be Native...
With regards to protecting the environment: I believe it was his part Iroquois wife who convinced "Grey Owl" to be more aware of nature.
One question: Can you guys view it in the States? I recently read an article in the OTTAWA CITIZEN stating that "GREY OWL had not found an American distributor yet..
