: : I wholeheartedly agree with Marcia. Geez, only one measly mention of Wes. The heroes wouldn't be anything without a good bad guy. Very disappointing!!!

: : Magua's Moll

: Yes, but he DID call him Wes STUD, which is worth SOMETHING! ;o)
: MMMM

At least the author was kind enough to make note of the fact that LOTM won an Oscar for the music. Actually, I saw the review as a sort of reverse version of Mark Twain's review of The Leatherstocking Tales. As dearly as I love Cooper, I laughed until my nose bled over Twain's review, because he really had the absurdities pegged; and I thought the Washington Post review of the movie was nearly as funny. You have to admit, the author liked the movie, but just like Twain, had fun kidding about the obvious improbabilities. It's called "taking time out for a reality check", which leads to laughs about almost anything in life. Sounds kind of like our struggles to figure out who Uncle Wiscone was.
