Emergency Supplies for Half-Drowned Gnomes and Prostrate Crones

My goodness! Bent has just called on me to let me know that Miss Paddletale and that there French gal are towing Old Crone's wattle hut back to shore, and are in need of emergency refreshments for Old Crone, herself, and that silly nitwit, GnomeDome. Guess I'll grab a bucket o' mint juleps and a platter of my Famous DownHome Fuu-uuuuudge, and head on down to the river bank. I don't know what's going on, but apparently Old Crone had a close call...something about being battered around a bit yesterday and then having a run-in with a deadly legless one (Miss Kate don't like fer me to call 'em by other names...too creepy for her taste!) And speaking of Miss Kate, hope she'll show up with a couple of her toasty warm quilts for this crew. They'll most likely need all the comfort they can get.

I'm off to do good deeds...which reminds me, wonder if Polly Ann will be there, too. She does SEW like to spread goodness and cheer everywhere she goes.
