Hi Dana,

If you want the squash to taste less like a vegetable add chopped apples & maple syrup. (Traditional New England fare ...) I'm not a micro cook so (still very CONVENTIONAL!) - just cover it w/foil & bake it at 350 F. Butternut & Spaghetti Squash are the two best choices for this. The other squashes really are better prepared as vegetables. Try stuffing the Acorn Squash with a cornbread stuffing just as you would a turkey!
