: This is a little off the subject for this site, but could you give me some titles you've read on ancient britons? i'm specifically interested in the celts, but they ranged over much of iberia at times. what are the most interesting facts you've picked up from your study of their warfare and that of the Eastern Native Americans?

Hi, Kim,

I'll gather my few paperbacks together and send you the list. Give me a bit to ponder warfare and string a few thoughts together. I'm stretching myself to simply ASK questions here in Mohicanland. No one has ever asked ME how much I know. These people AMAZE me. I just hang around and soak up as much as I can.

I have been thinking about the similarities and differences between Roman arrival in Britain and the European arrival in North America. This is what prompted my question about Eastern Woodland Indian warefare tactics. I don't know "the facts" about the pre-contact period. Just thinking, thinking.

Do you mind if I e-mail the list to you?

Dana
