Hi Danalee,

(your name sounds really beautiful, by the way), that's really unfortunate that you have had such an unpleasant experience. I suppose that's a risk that one always takes when engaging in communication via internet message boards. You never really know who is reading your comments as opposed to private mail, you can't observe their reactions while you speak and maybe notice disagreement or misunderstandings early enough to pause, and it's harder to convey more subtle impressions than in a face to face conversation. And yet, it offers so many wonderful opportunities to communicate with people from anywhere and of any background, opportunities that otherwise might never come around. If you are interested in these book discussions, I would like to encourage you to just join in. Or you can lurk for a while first, until you get an impression of the regular posters. I plan to read along there, just to learn a little about some of those books. Or, like Ayesha suggested, maybe some of you here would like to start their own book club?

In any event, all the best!

Petra
