Dana,

I'm ready whenever anyone else is. Suggestion: start with "The Deerslayer" so we can meet Hawkeye when he started on his first warpath. Then it is an interesting contrast to look at his personality 15 years later in "The Last of the Mohicans", or 17 years later in his one and only love affair in "The Pathfinder". He changes radically as a person as the books progress. This would also give us a chance to meet Chingachgook and Hist O Hist before Uncas was born.
