: : : Here's the "Bar" Man's asters up close!
: : : MMMMarcia
: : : PS...though we looked until our eyeballs hurt, we never saw a "bar" ourselves! Maybe next time.

: : Thank you, Marcia, for all the beautiful pics. I love the "bar" story. Reminds me of the time I ordered shrimp at a southern Georgia restaurant. The waitress kept asking me if I wanted my shrimp "bald".

: My Dear Miss Daner,

: Here in Mohicanland, at Miss Marcia's Famous DownHome Kitchen, we serve bald shrimp frequently...in season, of course. We also do up some mean hardbald eggs for Easter, and some lovely softbald eggs for breakfast. We have bald peanuts, bald potatoes, and even bald corn on the cob, doncha know! Doesn't everybody??? Ya'll come on over here and try some! Ummmmm-ummmm, GOOD!

: Yours Most Graciously,
: Miss Marcia

And sweet tea, Miss Marcia? Nobody does sweet tea like you southern gals! And cheese grits? And fried catfish with hushpuppies? I'd be all over fried catfish like white on rice! Time for another visit to Gawgia!

Dana
