: : : I just wonder how easy it would have been for a prime and proper lady from England to just lay down on the ground and sleep.

: : Hello all,
: : My first thought when watching that scene was, what about chiggers, or poison ivy? Or "bugs" or snakes?

: Hi, Chris!

: I remember when I first met and fell in love with my husband, you could have hit me with a baseball bat, and I wouldn't have noticed. My blood was stirred, you see. The hard part of the recipe is " stir constantly." If Nathaniel did not "stir constantly"( the REAL test, but impossible to pass as most of us "simmer and stir ocassionally"), things like chiggers and poison ivy probably floated to the top and became much more noticable.

Now that's an interesting slant on the whole thing! Spoken by a true romantic, and I suspect a hot blooded woman!

Coming from Mars, and being cursed with a Y chromosome, and barely evolved from walking on my knuckles, and therefore capable of thinking with only one part of my anatomy some would say, and coming from the dense headed part of the equation MY
first thoughts on that were that when true danger lurks in the darkness one isnt concerned about spiders and such. Kinda like when you see a drunk coming at your car head on, you now longer complain about the seats being uncomfortable!!! :) Trying to survive occupies all your attentions!
