: Is anyone else nervous about this director's cut? We've built it up so much in our minds, but as I recall, there was a long battle scene in the TV version which was not in the movie version. Personally I can't get too excited about seeing that again. Also Roz saw a longer version just before the public release. It fleshed out the main story a lot, which I am looking forward to, but I don't remember her saying anything about the Uncas/Alice thread. Her recollections should be somewhere in the archives. Jo? I'm just thinking this may be a lot different than what we expect and I'd hate to see people feeling disappointed in the new version.

Well, I personally worry that the all-important Doc M/Hawkeye/
Huron Nation thread will not make the cut...I suspect it's
too intense and wildly romantic for the average viewer.
*sigh* Oh well, I have my memories to look back on.
