: Hey guys!!
: I soooo encourage you all to traverse the trails of Chimney Rock Park soon if you get the chance!! It is sooooo beautiful there right now! I went hiking there last weekend and the colors are amazing!! My university is also sending a whole bunch of us students to the Biltmore tomorrow night for the candle-light Christmas tour. I attended the tour last year too (but that was before I became such a Mohican fan.) I never realized parts were filmed there. Was there any filming around the actual house? I probably could look it up for myself and see but I'm in the middle of a research project and am focusing my energies on that. Let me know if there is anything I should be on the look out for!! Thanks a bunch!!

The Biltmore Estate ... three scenes made the final cut (soon to change, probably, as there were scenes filmed there that were cut out) ... You can't possibly miss the Bass Pond Bridge (Duncan in carriage). Then, there's the Guest House, its adjoining courtyard, & the grassy field outside that ... all part of the Albany segments (Duncan rides up, meets Cora, & they sit outside as Alice is introduced). Finally, the Burial Ground was filmed there ... you'll never recognize that just passing through. No part of the actual Biltmore House is seen in the film.

Have a GREAT time! The Candlelight Christmas program is something I've wanted to see!

Tammy, I didn't know you were in the area. Stop by the Marion post office sometime & say "Hello!"
