: Hi, Rebecca...it might be worth checking with them again. At our stores here, sometimes the clerks don't know diddly! They always seem to be "new here." But Blockbuster has a great big locked display case filled with DVD players for rent, and it doesn't look at all like it's only certain stores. I can't imagine they would do things THAT differently in Canada. They ARE a chain, and all. Maybe you could call around to different locations until you get someone who knows the story?

: If that doesn't work, what about a Rent-All type place? We have stores that specialize in renting all sorts of equipment, including cameras, video equipment, etc. Maybe something like that would work for you.

: Good luck!

Hi Marcia,

Thank you so much for your suggestions..Well, I will check again today at our local BLOCKBUSTER store and maybe I'll have more success than a week ago..Since BLOCKBUSTER is an American chain I thought for sure that I would be able to rent them.. I also tried another store, VIDEO UPDATE, but no luck there either...

Marcia, do you have any names for the RENT ALL stores? We have most of the same stores here in Canada ( except for DVD rentals:)), perhaps that will work...

Rebecca
