: As most of you know, we had a special raffle item available at last year's Gathering ... the Adoption Mask carved by Eric Schweig. This year we'll have another 'prize' to be raffled separately from other items.

: Our French Trader has offered to weave a REALLY neat Hawkeye Sash & donate it for the Gathering! As soon as we finalize details (ticket costs & such) we'll put up a Raffle page just as we did last year. Start saving those pennies!!!!

: The Northern Trading Post???? I know we've promised to have this up already but I haven't done a THING on the site for awhile. Nada. Sooooo ..... the delay is my fault. BUT ... I promise it will be up this week & will have the Inukshuk Earrings. Finally! We have plans to add works by various Canadian artists too. Keep an eye out ...

: Thankful Daniels sends her regards & promises more notes from the trail ...

: AND ... a book that might be added to the growing Book Club list is our own Towne Crier's "The Horseman." Sometime after the new year we should add Vita's work. Just think about it ... as you all read "The Horseman" you'll be able to discuss, analyze, & post questions directly with/to the author!!!!!!!

: If you're looking for some of the titles discussed here, you can find them through our Amazon.com Book Shoppe.

: Kate, that was a wonderful History you posted! Loved it!!!!!
