: : Yo, Daner...would NATURAL history count in this Home Town History thread of yours?? I'm MUCH stronger in that area, being the notorious Woods Weenie that I am. Ask Rich.

: : I'll try to find something along the more standard lines, too, but meantime...I can sure show folks what the wild part of Florida looks like. Believe it or not, there are still a few areas that look very much like they did before the first Spanish settlements were built, and still provide homes for the same critters that astounded those early Europeans.

: Hi, MMMM!

: Natural history is perfect! I would love to see the habitat of the Snow Bird, especially.

: Dana S.

Ha! Snow Bird indeed! *laughing*. Yeah lets talk about the rich flora and fauna of Florida. Such beauty. There ain't ONLY snow birds there ya know.....let's talk about gators, and water moccasins, and coral snakes, and leeches, mosquitos that need to check in with Miami Air Traffic Control, poisonous spiders....oh yeah. Lovely place! Can't compare with my enchanted forest thank you veddy much.
