If you already have your LOTM DVD, I highly recommend a particular music CD. 'Brule-Lakota Piano'. Paul LaRoche was adopted out of his Brule Lakota tribe at birth by a White middle class family in rural Minnesota. When his adoptive parents died he was finally told of his heritage and has embraced it ever since. He is an enrolled tribal member of the Lower Brule Lakota. His music is distributed by the SOAR corporation. Of 'Lakota Piano' and 'We the People' I prefer the former because I find it soothing. There is a definite Native nuance but my mother says he's a better version of John Tesh. The second CD mentioned features more chanting and vocables and is another fine recording.
