: : : : : HELLOOOOOOO, Gayle! Tell Pat that I miss Old Crone, will you? I am almost done with Deerslayer. I'll bet you thought we were finished. No way! Just got bogged down a bit. Let's resume discussions this Sunday. I miss your posts!

: : : : Hi Dana,
: : : : Sorry we all got sidetracked from the Deerslayer thing for a while, but I know everybody has had a bunch going on with the holidays coming up and everything. I have been swamped with various things, including a writing project on The Leatherstocking Tales that had a short deadline. Have just been snapping onto the Board and back off again every day to keep an eye on things. Will get on Sunday for a while, I promise. Let me know where you want to pick up discussions.

: : : Hi Gayle,
: : : Lets just go through Ch. 15. That will keep it fresh and we can finish after Christmas. Okay?

: : Dana,
: : It works for me.

: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chapter 15!!!!!
: And I thought I was doing really well to get to chapter 9 so far...of course only what, 2 nights and a bit have passed in the book; Mr. Cooper does take his time (238 pages to be exact!)(and the night vision of these guys had to be great; glad to know they didn't need glasses!).....but will try to get to Chapter 15 as soon as I can.
: However, Gayle, I will finish this book; no matter how long it takes me....
: As far as the Sherman Alexie book which I thought we were reading; "Indian Killer"; got that finished in a few days....what is it? "Reservation Blues" we are supposed to be reading??? Oh, darn, another trip to the bookstore....
: Oh! And the elf bowling; already had a copy at work and never opened Gayle's; so can't help with any virus thing; however my copy at work is just fine. Did get a very odd email from some unknown person - couldn't even tell who sent it;(it was an old Gathering Page title which was also very odd) but with so many Norton Utilities warnings attached to it; I just deleted it...very odd. Wish I had paid more attention to it; but didn't!
Come to think on it, I got a similar message some time ago. I gave it even less thought than you did, and just deleted it when I saw the return addy being something so bogus. Because I am in business and made the mistake of registering as such some time ago, I get a lotta such crap so don't even think about it when I weed out my mailbox. Delete delete delete. Clean trash can. Read good ones. It's a habit anymore.
Now that you mention it.....makes you wonder though doesn't it?
