: : : Chris,
: : : Well, at least I am not the only one (Hey, Collin, what chapter are you on these days....???)
: : : Indian Killer??? How did I feel about it?? Kinda unsure; sort of still wondering exactly why the main character did what he did and all of a sudden just walked off the building....I may have missed something; however, I did finish it; and did like the writing. Now, if that main character could have talked as much as the Deerslayer; Hurry or Hutter.....maybe there would have been more insight...

: : : Oh~ good morning Chris and Bill!
: : ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
: : Ooooooooh, *hanging head in disgrace here* - I'm still on Chapter 8!! How do you guys find the time to read, at this time of year?!?! You gotta tell me!! I think I'm doing something wrong here! But I swear, I WILL catch up! (To Chapter 9, I mean!). Can I join you in the 'slow readers' group?
: : Take care, everyone,
: : Kate.
: Hi Jo and Kate,
: Sure, Kate, we'll take anyone who hasn't read past chapter 10 or 11. Welcome to the group.
: As for "Indian Killer," I should probably reread it now that I've read others of Alexie's books and see if I find it more appealing. However, I gave the book away, and I'm just not that motivated to buy it again.
Naw, Chris, don't read it again; my sister Karen has a saying "never go back"; (this was especially good advice in driving on every back road of western North Carolina....at least we never saw the same parking lots twice...)I'm not sure I'd ever read that book again...am ready to give it away to one of my sisters!
Kate, congratulations on getting to chapter 8!
Collin; not enough to do on the lake today if you've finished the book???? (Oh, if they've taken that line out of the DVD version; I guess I am dating myself!) Ayesha, catch up!
(don't ask where I get the time to read....)
