: : WOW!  Kate, I'm SEW impressed (pardon the pun, hehe)!  You do such beautiful work, and a quilt like that would take most people YEARS to finish!  (It would certainly take ME the rest of my natural life to make a quilt of any kind.)  I'm sure Eric will be touched and will love the pattern...all the planning to make it a meaningful design will be evident to him, I know.
