Happy New Year, Mohicanland!

I'm taking advantage of my computer's generosity this morning to wish everyone a wonderful 2000! (Won't it seem weird writing THAT on our checks?) Here's hoping that each and every citizen of our Mohicanland community is blessed with a prosperous and happy year, filled with love, laughter and all your favorite things! This year should soon see Sassy making her rounds in Mohicanland, checking on all the village happenings, too. She's been held hostage by a long series of computer glitches, as has Miss Marcia, Miss Paddletale, the G2K Bug, Birdie, and other personas rattling around in my brain. But that should be fixed before much longer, and I can unleash all these characters again. Be afraid...be VERY afraid! ;o)

Rich, it seems like we have been friends forever, and I really can't imagine life without Mohicanland. Thanks to you & Elaine for all your hard work, and for never giving up. ("I'll never let go, Jack...I'll never let go!"...ooops. Wrong movie!) And to all who have made me laugh, cry, consider, ponder, gasp, learn and love over the last three years, a hearty thank you, as well! We are truly "a breed apart!"

Having been here since the "opening day," I can say that watching this site expand and change has been a wonderful experience. I look forward to seeing what the new year will bring.
