Omigosh! I thought I was the only one. I learned to type on one of the ancient black typewriters with the gold lettering (Underwood?) with the keys in a big semicircle, and they had to arc about 2" to hit the paper. I had some strong muscles in my fingers and hands when I was using that thing. It's probably an antique in a museum now.
