: : : But that's an interesting point...who WOULD one cast? Sam Waterston comes to mind for me. Who else? Anyone got a good suggestion? Who would look just right standing in the boat?

: : : MMMM

: : MMMM - You know, I never think of Sam Waterston but he's one of my all-time favs (ever since seeing him with Walter Matthau in "Hopscotch" and of course in Law and Order). I think would have done Washington justice! In fact, I think I would like to see him in an 18th century period piece!

: : Just MHO!

: Sarah and MMMM,

: I agree, Sam might've been a good choice for George. I've always liked Sam Waterston, especially after seeing him in "The Killing Fields". A tragic movie, but I loved him in it! Did you see that one?

First, I have a cofession. I hardly ever know actor's names. If someone tells me, I forget. I had to look up Sam Waterston. OHHH, THAT guy. Okay. Now I know who you all are talking about. Nope. Not a good Washington in my opinion. I like him, too, but he seems too gentle. I'm still trying to think of a good Washinton, but it's really hard when you don't know anyone's name.:)
