DVD version

Okay--now I'm scared! I bought my new computer system with a DVD solely for the purpose of seeing the director's cut. I have yet to have time to see the entire movie, but I have watched it up to "And Magua will show you the way...". So far I was very pleased with the picture quality, and I liked the few added scenes at Cameron's cabin when the gang first shows up. I am chomping at the bit to see the rest--now all this talk about fixing what wasn't broke et cetera has me worried! I hope that I am not headed for a major disappointment! But I agree with Rich, we asked for the director's cut and got it--even though Mann's vision may be different from our own. Now--I just gotta find time to watch this thing!!!!!--PP
