: I sure laughed out loud at that one! I will never be able to watch that scene again without laughing! I love stories of misheard lines or lyrics - Madonna's La Isla Bonita is always known as "The Bagel Song" in our house because we always sang the first line of that song as "Last night I dreamed of some bagels.....!". That reminds me, for those of you going to the Gathering, remind me to tell you of the Dudley Moore/Sound of Music story - its far too rude to tell on the board, but it is a cracker!

: PS Just thought of another one - Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, the line is "got a devil put aside for me" - our "lost lyric" is "devil for a sideboard". My husband believes that there is another line in this song...."Dynamite with a Cheddar Cheese" - I am trying to convince him to replace the Cheddar cheese with a laser beam - but he just won't have it!!!

Here's another one. My first year of high school the drama club did Grease. They were on the last song, and one of my friends commented that rather than hearing the actual line "I've got chills, they're multiplying." She heard either one of the two, "I've got shoes that are made of plywood," or "I've got cheese that's multiplying." Very funny! I laughed for days over that one.
