Ring ring Ring!
Helloooooo! Come One Come All!
ring Ring ring!!
How are you, everyone?
It's been such a long time since I've posted here, many of the newbies will not know that once upon a time, I used to be LOTM's Towne Crier, who cried for all and sundry, and wandered around with a punched tin lantern, and wore fancy black satin duds and thus in the cold of winter, lost nose and fingers and toes to frost bite...

However, as some of you know, I've been off sailing in stormy seas and trying to maneuver among dire straits and o do I love the challenge (uh, not really).

Well, today I come in for quick look and head count, and first, I see The King's post and photo, and oh wow! I did not know he played the guiter and did vocals, to boot. and yes, who cares about that sicko who wanted to waste his time with that unmentionably stupid script.

Then I surfed to the Gathering 1999 page and well, began weeping. Silently, of course. I mean, first of all, the midi tune is lovely, of course, so nostalgic. But ah the photos of the Gatherers! And the scenery....

I wish that year after year, you will make LOTMLand your favorite vacation spot. And hold on to the friendships forged.

I am supposed to be a wordsmythe, but not today. Can not write more. Just, once again, I'd like to thank Rich and Elaine for their dedication to this site, for their love of ... well, spirit... and again my hat is off to them, because this couple are not retirees, plus Elaine is a mother to eight, and this site is really not a commercial site, despite the Guide Book which is up for sale, you can not justify this kind of work with a few books sold, and us, visitors, well... are we doing enough to keep this wonderful experience going????
Ok, am guilty for not having done enough. Sometimes I feel I should not even come for a visit, for I have not earned my entry ticket.

Enough rambling!
It is a wonderful day in LOTMland today, sky's all bright and sunny and deep deep blue, and the proverbial riverbank is lined with green fresh grass and churning with happily leaping salmon which we will never catch to fry because we respect the salmon's drive to return to its spawning grounds, alive...

And all my prayers and good wishes are with you all.

Have a great week!

Yr Olde Faithful Humble TC
