: I sure laughed out loud at that one! I will never be able to watch that scene again without laughing! I love stories of misheard lines or lyrics - Madonna's La Isla Bonita is always known as "The Bagel Song" in our house because we always sang the first line of that song as "Last night I dreamed of some bagels.....!". That reminds me, for those of you going to the Gathering, remind me to tell you of the Dudley Moore/Sound of Music story - its far too rude to tell on the board, but it is a cracker!

: PS Just thought of another one - Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, the line is "got a devil put aside for me" - our "lost lyric" is "devil for a sideboard". My husband believes that there is another line in this song...."Dynamite with a Cheddar Cheese" - I am trying to convince him to replace the Cheddar cheese with a laser beam - but he just won't have it!!!

Adele,

That's so funny, I often laugh at myself and some of the things I seem to hear. Of course, my almost 13-year-old ALWAYS corrects me, with a roll of the eyes. Then I have to remind her of how she used to belt out "Sit me in the rinsing bowl," for (I forgot the guy's name that sang it) the song "Simply Irresistable." A couple others I remember from myself are "There's the bathroom on the right" for "There's the bad moon on the rise" and "My eyes of Georgia" for "My eyes adored you." I really laugh hard at stuff like that! I laughed until I cried when I first ran across the "lost lines" in the movie. Too Funny!!

Take care,
Diana
