::I have to agree with My Favorite MMMMarcia and Myrrh....I refuse to change my opinion of the DVD. To me, Mann ruined the movie in that format. I can't help my emotions (or lack thereof) when the DVD came to a close. I still feel that Chingachgook's original speech was short, sweet and eloquent. I just hate the way he goes on there--yada yada yada--enough already! I am still amazed at how Mann was capable of removing most all of the intense emotion from this film that has always managed to give me chills. I hang with my sisters M and M and still feel royally plundered--despite Mann and his intentions. Okay I'm off my soapbox now.....! Pilgrim Penny THE Mohicanite of CO Even Though I Don't Like The DVD!
