Let me step outta character (gnome-type) for a moment and say that you are truly a hoot Doc. I do hope you manage to find a way to get to the gathering. Just the combo of you and our Mighty Mohican Mama would be entertainment worth the trip - not to mention meeting all these other folks such as FT, ET, DT, Jo and Sweetsters etc.
Now, stepping back in character.......
Look who's talking about poking sticks!!!! I seem to remember you intending to mount gnomefolk on sticks, poked up their bum as I recollect. Then you wonder why the gnome population is leaving???? Here comes Doc Mary and there goes the neighborhood!
Ever since YOU arrived we have had to establish a Gnome Neighborhood Watch. I believe there were some folks from Salem looking for you.....some guy named Linen Rather or Cotton Mather or some such. They had two very large boards and what looked like hundreds of pounds of rocks in their cart, though what purpose those would serve I dont know.
Being a good citizen, I pointed them the way to your house. Hope you don't mind, and they find you at home!!!!
: It's unwise to poke sticks at Dear Sweet Doctor Mary. Hmmmm --
: as I mentioned before, I did inherit my Granny's receipt
: book, which has been passed down to certain crafty family
: members since Granny had a regrettable accident with a
: rope back in Salem in 1692. Let's see what wisdom Granny
: imparts about our current situation...*flip! flip! flip!*
: "If yer Gnome Brewe lacketh flavoure,
: Adde ye pinche of Englishe Trader.
: Shoulde that notte refreshe ye Stewe,
: Adde some Turkishe Trader too!"
: *cackle! cackle!* And by the way, my warts do NOT have hairs --
: thanks to my handy-dandy pocket-sized Popeil EpiWart!
