::Dear Rich and All,

Thanks for the update. The River Walk loss is so sad, but thanks to you and Elaine many of us got to appreciate it up close and personal last year. Definitely memories to cherish for a lifetime! I have another suggestion for those looking to add to their DVD collections--Ravenous. Yes, it is an odd one and the topic is cannibalism (with hints of vampirism), but it is a great period piece--taking place at an isolated fort in the Sierra Nevada mountains following the Mexican/American war. It is a great twist on "Manifest Destiny"! Along with great lead performances by Guy Pearce and Robert Carlyle, it also stars Joseph Runningfox and Sheila Tousey. As with Lonesome Dove, there are great added features such as three commentary tracks, deleted scenes, tv spots, photo gallery, and a look at the costume and set designs. It really does make me wish that Michael Mann had put a little extra into his Mohicans DVD....PP
