: Good afternoon, Miss Marcia.
: I heerd ye were feelin' a little under the weather and thought I'd bring ye this nice, plump turkey hen I shot this mornin'. Smells like yer afixin' a mess o' greens, and mebbe a leg o' turkey would go well with 'em. Always good with an ear or two o' corn alongside, too. No, no, thank ye kindly - I can't stay, but I'd be happy to help ye bring a bushel of corn in from yer corncrib, if ye want.

Shhhhhhhh....softly, softly, She. I've still got a bit o' pounding in my head, and a sort of a thumpin' right behind my eyes, and a eensy kinda ringing noise in my ears. Talk softly, if you don't mind....that's much better. Yes, Dear, a turkey leg with this pot o' greens sounds just lovely. I thank you so much for such a thoughtful gift.
What the heck's the matter with Hector, there? Why's he hidin' behind your legs and snivelin' and whinin' so? Lookit him a-shaking like that...what on earth ails him? He doesn't want to come near me...guess you'll have to take him down to the corncrib with you, if you're serious about fetchin' me up a bushel of those fresh ears for roastin' tonight.
Thank you again for being so thoughtful an' all. Try not to stomp too hard in those moccasins, though...the noise of that supple leather slappin' against the soft grass never sounded so loud before! Oh, my poor achin' head!
I'll just lie down here on the swing with my head on this comfy cushion whilst I wait for your return.
Go quietly, She...ever so quietly..........
