Between the two, it's DDL, hands down. I love Mel, but OH, that Dan the Man! Better actor, better height, better walk, better in a loincloth, just plan BETTER! Again, my apologies, Mel...you're certainly no slouch, by any means, and Braveheart is one of my favorite films...it's just that in a contest between you and DDL...well, there just IS no contest! HAWKEYE RULES!!

: Well, if you remember, DDL picked up his Oscar for "My Left Foot" during the filming of LOTM, and his hair was only down to his shoulders; just barely; and in need of a LOT of extra hair, as my feeble brain remembers....I kept thinking: why is this guy here without getting a haircut or at least combing it!!! It looked awful to me....woops, did I say that???? DDL could never look awful.

And I remember thinking when I saw him at the Oscars, OH MY YES!! I thought he looked quite fine, but he looked absolutely incredible the next year when he handed out the Oscar. His hair was almost as long as Hawkeye's then. YRH
