Hi Jo!! How is it there in La-La Land? Has it changed much with the loss of a gnome? The Gnomestead is quite literally in huge disarry. Boxes stacked all over the place and half the time I can't find Betty Gnome - being short CAN be a curse as well as a blessing. Just so danged hard to see over those steenking boxes!
Like being stuck in a cardboard maze of canyons. But we gnomes are an industrious lot (when the male gnomes aren't taking their naps that is! Hey, if YOU were 450 years old you would need a nap too) and I am sure in a week or so most things will have been found again and put away.

We STILL haven't found our bath towels though. Among other things. Now you would think they would label towels as linen closet or bathroom wouldnt you? Nope. I think they take particular malicious glee in mislabeling things. Must have been trained by Doc Maryflower Van Lines. There is an evil genious behind the packing and labeling of things. We have found underwear in kitchen boxes and china in bedroom boxes. Now....maybe the crusty old lascivious Doc Mary runs around with edible underwear, but gnomes dang sure don't subsist on friggin unmentionables! Mushrooms, sure.
