There IS NO correct season for harvesting gnomes you...you...you Doc Mary cheap imitation! : So which season is the correct one for harvesting gnomes? In the fall after they've fattened all summer? Guess that would make better sense, but I'd like to practice some recipes before the main season gets here, so that the dish will be perfect "in season."
