Bill will be pleased to know that the traditional alliance between France and Scotland will be maintained during the 2000 Gathering and that the two of you will stand shoulder to shoulder in the event of a McDonald invasion...or even more likely, an incursion by the dastardly English! If there's anything a MacLeod finds more despicable than a McDonald, it's an Englishman (with all deference to the English Trader, who by all accounts appears to be a fine, upstanding member of the community and hardly a despoiler of Scottish land rights!) But in all truth, I think it's the strike against the Clan Drambuie (or perhaps the Guiness family) that will afford the greatest opportunity for hearing the MacLeod war cry....
