: : Beth: Right now I'm just exhausted. We're getting ready for two foals to be born on our farm and that's taking most of my time and energy right now. We're about 20 miles west of Bristol, VA, between Gate City, VA and Kingsport, TN. For us it's just about a 60 mile drive to Bear Den.

: : And yes, I'm excited when I get a chance to actually think about it. Half the excitement for me is to have a trip with my husband without my kids. We have so little time just to ourselves. Plus, there are so many interesting people going to be there that it should be a great trip. We've never met any of these people in person either, but from what I gather, there are going to be a lot of first timers there. Do you know where you're going to be staying yet? We're going to be in the big cabin. Figured if we're going, we might as well be right in the middle of everything. YRH

: Night Sky, you and Beth will be next-door neighbors. She is staying in the cabin adjacent to yours, and you'll have loads of opportunties for visiting. Of course, all of the Creekside Cabins are in a row, so very conducive to visiting. And we will be having our nightly get-togethers around the Trading Post & Bumppo's Tavern, with bonfires, so there's another opportunity to socialize. The entire Gathering will offer lots of time for making new friends from all over the world.

: We have a very good mix this year of old-timers and newcomers, so it's going to be a lot of fun, I think. I'm looking forward to seeing some friends from the previous two Gatherings, plus making new ones. Can't wait to meet you and Beth!

Night Sky- Well, we are going to be neighbors! And we already have a strong bond in common-I grew up with horses and have always passionately loved them. Foaling time is hard, but so rewarding to have that shaky little one up and nursing... (and less painful than giving birth yourself!) Look forward to hearing about your horses!
Beth
