Brothers Malcolm and Davey wrapped in their plaides,
With broadsword and musket through the wilderness they gaze.
Prime and load! 'Bout! Up! Make ready!
Present! Fire! March on to Fort Freddy!

Grenadiers of the 77th with tall cap of Bear.
March on through Penn's Woods into the savage lair.
Prime and load! 'Bout! Up! Make ready!
Present! Fire! March on to Fort Freddy!

First Sergeant Campbell, Sergeant MacDougall, both braw Scots.
As comrades-in-arms, they lead the whole lot.
Prime and load! 'Bout! Up! Make ready!
Present! Fire! March on to Fort Freddy!

To the front! Wheel to the right! Onward they march.
Cut the road. Fell the pines, chestnut, oak and larch.
Prime and load! 'Bout! Up! Make ready!
Present! Fire! March on to Fort Freddy!

MacWilliam and Gunn, Johnson, MacGregor, MacFarland.
Fight the French and Huron. Ram cartridge down gun.
Prime and load! 'Bout! Up! Make ready!
Present! Fire! March on to Fort Freddy!

British Highlanders march with kilt 'round the knee.
Before them all enemies of George the Twa flea.
Prime and load! 'Bout! Up! Make ready!
Present! Fire! March on to Fort Freddy!

"So, onward my lads," Corporal MacWilliam will cry!
Fix bayonets! Shoulder your firelocks high!
Prime and load! 'Bout! Up! Make ready!
Present! Fire! March on to Fort Freddy!
