Gentlmen (and Ladies),
Please forgive me cousin Seamus, for he is a boastful lot. You see, he has this habit o' braggin'.....well, cause o' a accident he sustained a number o' years ago. You've heard the old sayin' "bringin' a knife to a duel".....well, he brought his flinter pistol to a knife fight......and it misfired!! Needless ta say........poor cousin Seamus isn't ta lad he once were. And because of the mishap, he feels he needs to defend hisself against lesser men than he. We keep tryin' ta keep him outa scrapes wi' the common folk........but he has a mind o' his own. Don't get riled wi' him.......he's a better lad than most......even considerin' his state.
