: Dearest Doc Mary,

: I fear my poetry has led to a false impression in regards to my nature. You see, the women of the South are known for possessing a soft exterior, all the while being constructed internally of the finest steel, tempered from centuries of dealing with that most unruly of creatures, the Southern male. My intent was simply to give another approach to the ongoing quest for the tall, dark haired one. It was once said to me that here there was no choice between the lady and the tiger, for they are one and the same. Do not feel you must protect me from harsh words or deeds. I truely believe the word is more powerful than the sword.

: As for the loan of the loin cloth, it will not be necessary, as I do not swoon from such things, although I doubt our hero could say the same if similarly faced with the clothing I hold most near to me. Men are no mystery in those regions, with the differences being few and far between. The challenge is to gain a reaction from the regions located farther north, where the true nature (and worthiness) of a man is revealed.

: I will leave you with two final thoughts. The first being that old Southern saying, you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. The second being passed to me from my lovely mother. "A lady never chases a man, and a woman never runs from one."

: As Elaine said, all is fair......

: Emma

Well....there ya go MMMMMarica!! A truly remarkable woman, and a most welcome addition to Mohicanland. Not only is she wise, she is feminine and strong at one and the same time. She makes great good sense, and rises not to the bait, merely smiling knowingly at the fumbling attempts to ensnare her. A true southern woman apparently, eh Marcia?

A most welcome addition to this rude village!!!

Wonder if she had a gnome or faerie ancestor? It would seem so to be so wise and enchanting.

So say we Both!
