Aye! We have come for Amerikay,
To fight the French and their native allies.
Aye! We are here to preserve the day.
The Grenadiers of the Seventy and Seven!

Aye! We are here to protect the King,
To defend his interests in this land.
Aye! We draw swords. They clash and ring.
The Grenadiers of the Seventy and Seven!

Aye! We came with Montgomery the Laird,
To traverse Penn's Woods with Forbes and Bouquet.
Aye, with our weapons and bear caps so feared.
The Grenadiers of the Seventy and Seven!

Aye! We left Scotland our native home,
To march with musket, pistol and dirk.
Aye, to defend the colonists we come.
The Grenadiers of the Seventy and Seven!

Aye! We have come like our ancestors bold,
The Bruce, great Wallace, and Gunni the Grim.
Aye! We shall conquer as in days of old.
The Grenadiers of the Seventy and Seven!
