Cousins Malcolm and Davey,

This message will be given to you by a Lenape friend of Sign Talker's by the name of Two Dogs. An unlikely looking savage he is but loyal to our cause. We came across him while traveling north just after we found sign of a Shawnee camp which we believe was the captive site of Seamus. Certain sign and evidences we found which reminded us of our cousin leads us to believe that he was here but escaped his captors and upon circling the camp looking for other sign we came across other trails leading along his. It is very confusing, we believe he is being followed, possibly by Friend Timothy and someone else. We have been able to tell differences in all these converging trails. Seamus has a way of walking which is very distinctive, having had problems with a leg several years ago. Timothy, newly introduced to our lifestyle, walks with his feet splayed out a bit, and the other trail, well, it is of one who knows the woods, making a slim trail with very little sign. I believe before we left you at Fort Morris, there was talk of Deux Chemises, this third trail may be his.
We move fast, but still seem to get no closer to Seamus, Timothy, or the third person. It almost seems as if Seamus is being chased by friend Timothy and his companion. This makes no sense to Three Tales or myself.
As I mentioned, as we moved out from the Shawnee camp which still had warm fire, we came across Two Dogs. He is an aquiantance of Sign Talker and they conversed in Lenape in low tones.
We do move fast for we believe there to be a war party of Shawnee behind us, possibly the same ones who were holding Seamus captive. Our hopes are to catch up to the others in front of us and possibly make a stand against the following Shawnee. But it is growing dark fast and we may have to find a spot to lay over for the night.
Two Dogs leaves us at this moment to travel through the night to reach you with this message. Our rendezvous at Fort Loudoun and thence to Fort Frederick may not occur, cousins. For, we must perservere in finding Seamus and protect him.
We hasten Cousins. Look to the stars and the Great Spirit for our safety. Call upon St. Andrew for our protection and the safe return of us all.
Pax Aye!
