My Dear Miss Emma,

What a charming little ditty! I'm so glad I found time to stop by the board tonight...between you and Doctor Mary and Gnomefellow, I feel all poetic inside!! ;o) I don't know if there were any harsh words around of late, but I can assure you, my absence is strictly because I have been racing around like a crazy person, trying to cram three days into one, each and every day. *sigh* I know somewhere there exist SuperWomen who can do it all, but I've discovered I ain't one of 'em! Whew! Been busy, busy, busy, and I'm SEW far behind on my email, I'll never catch up! I haven't even had time to READ the Board lately (and that's a FIRST for me), much less post on it. But I hope to remedy that SOON, and come back to play!

Mayhap Mohicanland would make a nice, peaceful vacation spot, where I can rest my weary bones and soothe my tattered nerves. I could visit my cousin, Miss Marcia, and her evile (NOT!) twin sister, Sassy. Stop by the quilt shop for a chat with Miss Katie. Help She Who Tracks set a snare along the Glimmerglass for that wily ol' Longue Carabine. Quaff a tankard or two of Bumppo's best ale, whilst watching Doctor Mary practice her wiles on stalwart, though unwary, young lads. Stop by the library to visit with Miss Gaylee, and enjoy a quiet read for an afternoon. Cheer on the Town Crier when she's ringing her bell and shivering in her black satin duds. Check all the local corn cribs for signs of recent occupation by that thievin, murderin' renegade, Simon Girty. And eat heaps and heaps of Miss Marcia's Famous Downhome Fuuu-uuuuudge, washed down with some of her lovely mint juleps. *sigh* Why I can almost feel the cooling, soothing breeze on my face as I glide gently to and fro on her lovely front porch swing. BOY, DO I MISS MOHICANLAND!! Guess I'd better get caught up around here, so I can come back to play!

And having said that, I'm off to finish up another job, in the hopes I can visit again tomorrow.

It was great reading all the lovely poems, everyone!
MMMMarcia
