I am sending this message with BlueSkyWomen in hopes that she can intercept you before reaching us here at Ft. Loudon. She is a dear freind and companion from my childhood village and can be trusted with my secret. ThreeTales' cousin, Davey Gunn, has warned me of what you have said, and I implore you to be silent on this matter. I know that ThreeTales has not yet heard your accusations, and I pray he never does.

You did see what you claim, but it was none of the lads that you suggest. Only I, and the lad, know the truth of the matter. Continuing this will only do harm to us all. Please let it be.

Besides, if you persist, I will inform ThreeTales of your advances last autumn at Ft. Freeland. Your goose will be cooked, as they say, and ThreeTales will have stuffed Seamus for his supper.
