Not too much to say this AM, so, I won't say too much!

Sent out a lengthy E-Mail last night to all of you signed up for the 2000 Gathering, so you're pretty much up-to-date on that stuff. Any questions, just ask!

Passed along was this photo of three new Gatherers; might as well introduce them to you ... Kathleen Broderick, her daughter, Melody, & granddaughter, Ariana. We look forward to meeting the three of you in the flesh!

And, another sign-on ... Dar Burns, from up Minnesota-way, will be returning for her 2nd Gathering (she was at the 1st!). Welcome back, Dar ... it'll be good to see you again! Keep her off the top bunk, PLEASE!!! Actually, quite a bevvy of 1998 Gatherers are returning this year! Great!

Will follow-up with a "Mystery Lady #3" photo ... this one'll be fun! Please, don't cheat! After awhile, will post a second photo of this same woman, at an somewhat later age ...

On the History Channel:

Monday 05/08/2000

8:00 The True Story of Braveheart. The film "Braveheart" brought the name of Scottish hero William Wallace to the world's attention. Now, we disclose the true story of the man who rallied his people in the Scottish Wars of Independence from England. After his capture in 1305 and execution, King Edward I tried to destroy his reputation, but created a martyr instead. (cc) [TV PG]

Wednesday 05/17/2000

8:00 The True Story of Robin Hood. The quest for the true identity of the altruistic outlaw is nearly as old as the legend. In 1377, William Langland made the first known printed reference to "Robyn Hoode". Earlier ballads had cast him as both villain and wronged nobleman. Scholars offer amazing facts about the man whose unique blend of socialism continues to tantalize. (REVISED: 3/17/00) (cc) [TV G]

Enjoy!
