It's always nice to think back on 19th century events with a 20th century mind. It seems Custer used common cavalry tactics, for the time. What worked well on the Washida (I know it's a "t" but this program is so darned sensitive!) didn't work at LBH. Gold and land will still be the roots of the whole plains Indian war fiasco.
