The LBH took place on what had been Crow Land. it was taken from them in the early 1800's by the Lakota, who killed a lot of Crow in the process.

: This is stictly my opinion but I think that the Souix and the Cheyenne should be given a bit more credit in that battle. Although I am white I believe that the whites were being land hungry when they fought for the Hills. I have a great respect for the indians and I believe that they were handled unjustly. Maybe it could have been prevented, and maybe not. We will never know. I mean to offend no one.
