Greetings all,
I have been attending all of the past Mohican Gatherings since 2001 and this year's Gathering will be probably be my last Gathering. For the 2008 Gathering, I coordinated Ariel's Auction and we raised over $900 for Ariel. For this year I am coordinating the raffle. Donations for the raffle can be most anything; state baskets, jewelry, handmade items, anything Native American, just whatever will be appreciated for the raffle. The money from this Gathering's raffle will go towards tying up any loose ends for this year's Gathering, support for a potential 2012 Mohican Gathering, or supporting the MohicanPress website. Let's say we owe a little extra money to some event that we hadn't planned on, then the money for the raffle would be used for this. If we don't owe any money when the Gathering is over, then the amount that we collect will go towards our next Gathering.
Please, if you have a donation for the raffle, let me know by email - gi_kyo@yahoo.com or call 703-209-9321. If you want to purchase tickets ahead of time - let me know as well - basically $1 per ticket or more tickets for greater $ amounts - needs to be decided. I want to thank everybody for their help with this Gathering's raffle. It really is very much appreciated for anything that you can send!!!

Greetings all,
Just as a reminder, I will be selling raffles at any time over the course of this year's Mohican Gathering. Raffles tickets will be $1 per ticket or 6 tickets for $5. We will be doing the raffles at the time with Ariel's Auction. Have a save trip coming to Asheville, hope to see everyone there.

Thank you for being this year's raffle coordinator. I will be bringing some fun items to donate to the raffle and encourage everyone else to do the same. The raffles are a fun way to win prizes and help cover any outstanding Gathering-related expenses. Thanks again and see you soon!
