He was always a favorite of mine, and I loved his TV show way back in the 70s. Such a lovely, soothing voice.

I was channel surfing yesterday and happened upon the Biography channel running Andy's biography in tribute. I had never seen that one before, so I watched it. I was so pleased to be reminded about what a truly nice and admirable man he was and not only for his singing. He remained very actively involved in the lives of his 3 children after his divorce from Claudine, and found happiness again in a much later second marriage. I was also pleased to learn of his tremendous success when he made his come-back by building his theater in Branson, Missouri. Truly a loss to the world of music.
