A great day weatherize with a "mixed group" of participants - no battles etc. displays of things for sale. - Quite a few groups, from a troop of Maine Boys Scouts, several folks from Connecticut, New York, Vermont & of course New Hampshire. A good day money-wise for the Fort I'd say, from the all folks walking around & "buying things" from the displays. - Seemed kinda strange not to have any battles scheduled, but the Fort needs money. The new manager has an expanded "list of events" this year, all the regular ones plus a few new ones like todays. I think it will help a lot.

Looks like it was a good day. Sometimes it is nice just to hang out and not have to adhere to a strict schedule. I went to the local Highland Games yesterday. It was very cloudy all day and began misting toward the end. By the time we left is was a slow rain. Very Scottish! There was a concert by three Scottish bands. Naturally they had to play "The Gael" from LOTM.
