Why isn't Col. William Travis honored with a street named after him around the alamo. I would like to start a petition to get this done. All in favor let me know.

I'm so late with a response that this thread may not make sense, but here goes. My renewed interest in this battle was fostered by the Thorton film. I was extremely impressed with it. Regarding Travis, despite his youth, he appeared to be the glue that held the men together. I am surprised that he has not been so honored.
