: : That's ok -- the first time I saw the movie I thought Duncan
: : said "My corns hurt, sir! Take her and get out!" which
: : puzzled me, to say the least! LOL!

: Oh, Mary! You made my day! That's too funny!! (Maybe Duncan was anxious to get his corn(s) roasted??)

: I've never noticed voices during the Elk Hunt, but then I never realized the elk bugled, either...must listen harder, watch closer, learn more!!!

: As for watching Hawkeye with his shirt off, you can be forgiven for missing EVERYTHING else! He's all I saw the first few times, too! (I will *not* give up these fantasies, though...they're what make the day-to-day grind bearable!)

Marcia,
We'll excuse you for your "hearing" as we know the trouble you've had in recent posts, but at least you're in good company, because I haven't heard all the background noise during the elk hunt either, and we have a surround sound too. (Guess I've been to too many rock concerts in my youth....)I'll just have to jiggle the knobs a bit, as you have suggested, or get a hearnig aid. I think that during the Elk scene, however, I have never heard the extra noise was because my sister pointed out to me that "special thanks" was given to Adidas in the credits of LOTM, and we thought maybe they used Adidas running shoes for the running scenes, with the authentic moccasins for the close ups. (Of course trying to see feet - or hearing extra noises - when Hawkeye is running bare chested is a bit difficult..) Maybe that is why, thought, Duncan has his "corns", because he didn't wear his Adidas? (Too funny, Mary, I agree with Marcia, I'm still laughing)
Jo
