WOW! You don't want much do you? "Smile"
Q: WoW! Was it really heavy metal? Somehow he doesn't look the classical music or opera type. Did he wear it during all the filming or just when he wasn't on camera?
A: I don't know if it was all heavymetal but he like to wear it, not all the time. We had a lot of down time.
Q: As far as the roller skating goes, was it, like Joe mentioned, when people were dancing? Although I couldn't imagine why they would need skates to dance.
A: Yes. See what you've done, Joe.
Q: Also wanted to ask another question you probably know the answer too. Was the guy who played Duncan like his character off the screen? You know kinda of haughty and priggish. Or was he just the nicest guy you could ever be around? It is alway interesting to me to know what the actors are really like.
A: No. Steve was only 21 years old when this was filmed. He was matrue for his age but, at the same time, he knew how to have fun. He took acting very serious. When it was time to work, it was time to work. When it was time to play, he was just like the rest of us. He liked the attention he got from the filming crew. He wasn't arrogant at all.
Q: Somehow I imagine that Daniel Day-Lewis is just as intense off the screen as he is on but you hope the other characters are a bit more relaxed.
A: Daniel was very relaxed. Shy and quiet, but enjoyed a long conversation. So long as you were not talking about himself. e.i. Badgering him with questions.
Q: How about Magua? I saw an interview with him and he seemed like a real down to earth guy. Thanks, Lynne
A: Wes was the most joyful person on the set. He never got mad or upset that I know of. Alway had a smile and would talk about anything you wanted. Fun loving all the way.
Take it easy on me next time.
